Wikimania in Haifa

Hi there,

If anyone of you attends the Wikimania, I would be very happy if you
could leave me a message on my WM2011 talk page:
http://wikimania2011.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Stepro

Unfortunately I don't know if any Wiktionary user will participate in
this event. If you do so, we could talk a little bit about issues of
this wonderful project.

Cheers,
Stepro

api open search, need of "did you mean" reply

I tested

http://en.wiktionary.org/w/api.php?action=opensearch&search=ellephant

No result in replay since "ellephant" word does not exist, but I hope a "did you mean" reply with "elephant"
suggestion as for http://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=ellephant

Try this:

http://en.wiktionary.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=search&srsearch=ellephant&srinfo=suggestion

(srinfo=suggestion)

Wiktionary table of contents

Has anybody compiled a list of all entries in Wikitionary? I know
there are XML dumps for page titles, e.g.
http://download.wikimedia.org/enwiktionary/20110827/enwiktionary-20110827-all-titles-in-ns0.gz

But I was thinking on a dictionary entry level, e.g. the word
"snigel" is available on en.wiktionary as a Norwegian Nynorsk
entry, and on fr.wiktionary and pl.wiktionary as a Swedish entry.
This could be expressed as a table with 3 columns:

  Entry Site Language
  snigel en nn
  snigel fr sv
  snigel pl sv

An additional table could indicate the date when each Site's
XML dump was used to update this large table of entries.

Is anybody doing this already?
