[Election] Request for Election advertisement on sitenotice

Hello,
Thank you for your participation in Election 2006. It is nice to see
Wiktionarians vote :)
However I heard not all Wiktionaries may be aware of this opportunity
to reflect their voices for the future of the project.

(quoted from #wikimedia by courtesy of Dmsdevit)
Dmcdevit	So, it appears that of the to 7 non-English Wiktionaries (all
the ones with 100,000+ articles), 2 (Greek and Chinese) have no
election notice, 4 have only English-language election notices, one of
which (Russian) displays illegibly on my screen, and only one has an
election notice in its own language.

if your project is one of them mentioned on the above, would you
please consider to put a notice and localize? The English version is:

[[Image:Wikimedia-logo.svg|noborder|right|24px|Wikimedia Board
Election is open]]
All community members are invited to [[Special:Boardvote|'''vote''']]
in [[m:Board elections/2007/Candidates|Wikimedia Board Election]].

For candidate statements, there are not only English version but also
other languages including French, Spanish, Italian or Chinese. :)

Thank you for your attention,
Cheers,

Announcement: policy discussion re: interwiki links and the interwiki bot (Meta)

Please see
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Interwiki.py/Wiktionary_functionality_discussion for complete
information. The dicussion page on Meta is intended to provide a space for folks from every wiktionary
project to discuss and decide upon the behavior and features of the interwiki links bot (RobotGMwikt);
until now, there has been no such mechanism. Besides your participation, we also need folks who are able to
help translate the dicussion on an ongoing basis as appropriate.

Thanks.

Hoi,
The discussion states that it is a policy statement and not a technical
discussion.

There are technical reasons why it is not feasible to have a consistent
implementation of a different methodology. It is imho a waste of time to
discuss what you want to change if it is technically not possible and
certainly when this is clear from the start.
Thanks,
     GerardM

So please discuss those technical reasons. To not do so would be to
waste the discussion and everybody's time. Maybe it's impossibility is
also just your opinion. Or if this impossibility has been clear from the
start please point us to a clear description of the insurmountable
problems.

Thanks.

Hoi,
I have made my point, again, clear on the meta page.
Thanks,
