Error: DATA_ROOT parameter in web.xml does not exist or is not a directory!

Can you omit specific files - for instance the file where you specified
the MySQL password?

while we are waiting...

Hi all

while we are waiting for new disks, it would be quite useful to have
static dumps of two or three small wikipedias (like nds, for instance)
on zedler, for testing.

Would that be possible? I would at least be able to show people the
tools i'm making, even if they are not very useful with so little data.

Thanks,
Daniel

What exactely do you need? This should also work for other languages:

$ cd /u01/u/voj/dumps/wikipedia/tools
$ mkdir ../wikipedia/nds
$ ./download.pl wikipedia nds articles
$ ./download.pl wikipedia nds current
$ ./download.pl wikipedia nds full
$ ./download.pl wikipedia nds interwiki
$ ./download.pl wikipedia nds catlinks
$ ./download.pl wikipedia nds links
$ ls  ../wikipedia/nds
20051129_categorylinks_table.sql.gz  20051129_pages_articles.xml.bz2
20051129_interwiki_table.sql.gz      20051129_pages_current.xml.bz2
20051129_pagelinks_table.sql.gz      20051129_pages_full.xml.bz2

cool, good to know, thanks!

But i can't import the sql dumps into the "right" place... i could try
to hack around with prefixes and squeeze a frew into my personal db, but
that's messy. I'd like to have a few small wikipedias in the standard
location.

Daniel

database

Wikimedia databases are now available on zedler. there is some amount of
replication lag from the copy which should sort itself out shortly.

gdb

Am I being dense, or is there no GNU source level debugger (gdb)
installed on zedler?

I've tried using dbx to load an image, but it just spawns the
executable and then seems to hang forever waiting for it.

i've installed gdb 6.4 as /usr/local/bin/gdb.

this is a known problem with certain versions of the S10 kernel patch:
  http://sunsolve.sun.com/searchproxy/document.do?assetkey=1-26-102022-1

it affects gdb as well but not quite so annoyingly.

Oh it's like going back in a time machine to 1995. Come back Linux,
all is forgiven! :)

php pspell

I'd like to use the php extension "pspell", which appears to not be
installed. Could we get that installed? :)
