Re: Reminder - Meetup in 2 weeks

Is there an agenda for the meeting, or is it primarily a social meeting?

My understanding is that the meeting will be mostly social, though
Freebase have offered a short presentation on how we're using
Wikipedia.

Re: Reminder - Meetup in 2 weeks

Just a few logistical notes for tomorrow's meeting:

1) Enter through 55 Hawthorne St, around the corner.

2) I'll have someone stationed there to escort you upstairs, as we
need a pass to make the elevators work. Someone will be around from
2:45pm to 3:15pm.

3) Outside that timeslot, phone me on 415 992 2547 if you need to be let in.

4) We have tea, coffee, sodas, etc. Feel free to bring food if you want.

[Fwd: Fwd: Students for Free Culture Conference exhibit booths]

Hey all, I don't think we're going to send anyone "officially" from the
Foundation, but if volunteers want to put something together for this,
we'll totally support it.

Any takers?

We can fwd to SF list - I'd like to go, and we can give whoever goes
some swag to hand out. What do you think?

I like the sound of it. Gives me an excuse to make some simple pop up
displays for Wikimedia/pedia as well.

Strangely that link seems to be kaput, but you can find out more from
a recent boingboing post as well:

I'm willing to have a couple of nice pop-up Wikimedia/Wikipedia
banners produced for this occasion so there will be a snappy visual.
We still have stickers and buttons as a give-away.

I will probably attend on behalf of Wikimedia if someone wants to
spear-head a booth. I imagine we could wrestle a few other staff to
help out too :)

Re: [Fwd: Fwd: Students for Free Culture Conference exhibit booths]

I was planning on going anyway, at least on Saturday, so I can help
out with a booth as well. Unfortunately can't see the schedule... does
anyone know if the booth would be for both days?

I'm 80% sure the booth would be for both days, but I could check...
