Hi! Please set up a mobile main page for no.wikipedia. I used the CSS selector
method and added the ids "mp-ukens" and "mp-aktuelt" that should be included.
Thanks!

[Bug 24615] New: "Homepage Not Yet Configured" message looks like error message

Summary: "Homepage Not Yet Configured" message looks like error

When a homepage is not yet configured for a language all users get a message
about that, and links to the documentation on how to configure one. While that
is very useful for the ~0.000001% of us that are able to configure it and open
a bug for it in Bugzilla, it is completely useless and very confusing for the
vast majority of all users. I would suggest changing the default message to
something like this:
----

Welcome to the mobile version of Wikipedia in $LANGUAGE

Use the search box on the top of the page to search our $NUMBEROFARTICLES
articles. Happy browsing.

Thanks for the confirmation button, however there is much more to be desired!

The user still wonders, especially after reading the thread
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.technical/48893

"Well which of my settings are not the default?"

"Can I be allowed to examine a list and pick and choose which ones I
want to restore the defaults of?"

And, no one in their right mind would click on a link labeled "Restore all
default settings", as such links would likely blow away years of
customization, with no "receipt" as to what it blew away.
Only new users who think they have messed up their account would click on such
a button/link.

Should this be filed as another bug? Anyway the initial bug is fixed now.

[Bug 24616] New: Please enable LiquidThreads on cs.wikipedia

          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement

        Depends on: 21903

Few users are willing to use this extension - it will be only turned on a
volunteer bases at selected personal talk pages.

We need to translate the namespaces prior installation (bug #21903). Proposed
namespaces translations are:
"Thread" > "Vlákno"
"Summary" > "Shrnutí"

Relevant discussion in Czech is here:

[Bug 17188] Examine/restore default settings

--- Comment #3 from jidanni <at> jidanni.org 2010-08-01 01:55:27 UTC ---
> Should this be filed as another bug? Anyway the initial bug is fixed now.

Not so fast:

It seems today's "Restore all default settings" link would only act
upon the current #prefsection-3, #prefsection-4 etc. the user is
viewing, when in reality "when [the button] says all, it means ALL",
not just the ones in view, despite the users' guesses otherwise
[gotcha], unless he turns off your stylesheet. The second "confirm"
page doesn't mention the word "all" anymore too. However I do thank
you for not using a javascript "confirm" button, as e.g., I don't use
javascript.

Anyways, back on the track of enhancing this command: another option
is when the user is viewing his preferences in everyday use, have the
non-defaults be marked. I mean you do mark which skin is the default,
so why aren't the others so marked? And/or have stars appear next to
the ones he has chosen that are not defaults...

[Bug 24617] New: In history diffs, distinguish between preexisting and new text, via a search+comparison function

https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24617

Summary: In history diffs, distinguish between preexisting and
new text, via a search+comparison function
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Special pages
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l <at> lists.wikimedia.org
        ReportedBy: stvrtg <at> gmail.com

For example, in the diff:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Undeciphered_writing_systems&diff=375671540&oldid=372821363

The edit separated the second sentence as the start of a new paragraph and
inserted the text, shown at the beginning of the green field, as part of the
first paragraph. The second sentence and after, now a separate paragraph, is
still shown highlighted in green.

A search/comparison function inserted after the diff is formed which compares
the pre-existing version and the diff output text, could unmark the
pre-existing text from green to a nominal yellow color. This helps to
distinguish text which has added from pre-existing text which has simply been
shifted, moved, or transplanted.
