with current mediawiki (1.12alpha (r28001)) the extension works with already
uploaded pdf files

Thanks for the help.  That's not mentioned on the wiki page near the
installation instructions, and it's also absent around the download area.  It
would be helpful if the minimum version of Mediawiki required for the latest
release of the extension was listed in those areas, especially since the page
explicitly refers to several different versions of Mediawiki.  This would
assist users who are unfamiliar with the extensions.

I may look at tracking Debian's testing release so that I can use the latest
Parserfunctions.  Thanks again.

Yesterday I upgraded Semantic MediaWiki from version 0.7 to 1.0 RC2. The
provided update-helping scripts SMW_refreshData.php and SMW_unifyProperties.php
refused to run. My PHP interpreter returned "parse errors" as follows:

For SMW_refreshData.php:

Syntax error: Unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in [path]/SMW_refreshData.php Line
106

For SMW_unifyProperties.php:

Syntax error: Unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in [path]/inputbox.php Line 75

These two errors were not show-stoppers in my upgrade; happily the only
semantic annotations that the wiki involved contained were relations, and I had
only twenty or so of those defined. I simply moved them all to page-type

I performed RebuildLanguage on the most recent version of MessagesEn.php, and
tried to commit it, but it gave me an "Inconsistant newlines" error and failed
to commit. This should be a problem with the message file (not
rebuildLanguage.php script) because a similar process worked for MessagesFa.php
at the same time.
