Not quite the solution I suggested, but sending the visitor to
<http://www.mediawiki.org> at least stops the errormessages, and somewhere on
the front page is a link to <http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org>.

[Bug 5244] Allow searching in intersections, etc. of categories

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5244

------- Additional Comments From lar@...
2006-07-01 04:49 UTC -------
6499 speaks of: "A special kind of category page might be the simplest way, but
the most useful would be a plugin
for inling the results o such a query." which seems different, as it refers to
plugins and so forth, while this one does not. The underlying set manipulation
to make it work would be the same. Perhaps that one is an enhancement of this
one? Or close enough to a dup not to matter for now? Maybe this is a moot point?

[Bug 6505] New: Logic error on special page

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6505

Summary: Logic error on special page
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Special pages
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@...
        ReportedBy: ian@...

When on Special:Undelete (as sysop) on en.wikipedia, AfD templates (which have
been subst:'ed) appear as if they are not.

The logic: {{#if:{}|<div style="display:none;">}} is used, and it
seems that on Special:Undelete it is stateing something isn't subst:'ed when it is.

An example can be seen
here (sysop flag needed), and clicking preview.

[Bug 6507] New: References should be shown at bottom of page if <references/> is not set

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6507

Summary: References should be shown at bottom of page if
                    <references/> is not set
           Product: MediaWiki extensions

        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@...
        ReportedBy: le.korrigan@...

When <references/> is not set in the page, footnotes included in <ref> should be
shown at the bottom of the page anyway, so that the reader can still see them.
This is useful if the tag <references/> has been forgotten, but alos for talk
pages where the <references/> tag can en up being hidden in the discussions.

[Bug 4926] <noinclude></noinclude> section is transcluded when used by system messages

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4926

------- Additional Comments From plasmeier180@... 2006-07-01 10:58 UTC -------
I just noticed something else related to this bug. It seems that the problem
goes away when the content is double transcluded. As above, I have
Template:This Template, I then created Template:Middleman and had that
transclude This Template. I then switched the sitenotice to transclude
Middleman instead. The text in the noinclude is no longer transcluded.
This seems to be a working work-around that editors can use to temporary resolve
this problem. Can someone confirm this for me? Thanks.

[Bug 6508] New: [Special:Import] author attribution

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6508

           Summary: [Special:Import] author attribution
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://no.wikipedia.org/

         Component: Special pages
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l <at> wikipedia.org
        ReportedBy: jhsoby <at> gmail.com

I tested the Special:Import tool today, and it works perfectly. However,
there are a few "bugs" with it; when attributing authors, the page history links
to a user page that doesn't necessarily exist. I tried importing [[da:Germansk
(flertydig)]] to no:, and one author had an account. The link on the
author's name was a red link to xyr user page, which is ok. One author did _not_
have an account, though and the link went to Special:Contributions/Author.

I also tried importing a page that was edited by nn:User:Jhs, which is the
same as no:User:Jorunn, but _not_ the same as no:User:Jhs (which used to
be me, but is now just a placeholder account). The edit was then attributed to
no:User:Jhs, which in fact had nothing to do with the page at all, except
having the same username as the original author.

When Single Login™ comes, there should be no problems like this, but untill
then, I think that the author name in the history should point back to the
