There would be no reason to make this different for one wiki than for all the others.
The feature was added for a reason (making it easier and more consistent to upload),
and will stay without some good reason.

[Bug 5420] New: report on not moved parts of a page

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5420

Summary: report on not moved parts of a page
           Product: Wikimedia
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: General/Unknown
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l <at> wikipedia.org
        ReportedBy: jkbwiki <at> web.de

I hope it is right here. The problem is solved but it happened this while moving
pages from oldwikisource.org to the new created domain cs.wikisource.org on
March 29th 2006 (se bug 4965).
So, in oldwikisource there is the page oldwikisource:InternationĂ¡la (I didn't
delete it up to now), with some 12 edits in the history. In the new
cs.wikisource I found s:cs:InternacionĂ¡la with only one edit in the history (the
first one from January 2005). Other edits of this page were not moved. I did it
manually per copy-and-paste and I copied also the history on the talk page, so
it is quite OK now I think. But anyway, you should know about it, I guess.
Once more thanks a lot, ~~~~ see also User:-jkb- in cs.wikisource or oldwikisource

[Bug 5421] New: Allow the sysops to hide the patrolled edits for them

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5421

Summary: Allow the sysops to hide the patrolled edits for them
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: 1.6-cvs
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: User preferences
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@...
        ReportedBy: mail@...

If the sysops don't want the patrolled edits to be shown for them, please allow
them to turn it off in their preferences. It should hide the marks in the Recent
Changes and the New Pages, and (when Bug #5409 is fixed) switch the message from
"showhidepatrolled" to "showhide" - but it should not hide the two preferences
(autopatrol and the new option I suggest).

I will try to create a patch for that, although I'm not sure I know how to do that.

[Bug 5422] New: Change interface file for new Romani Wikipedia (rmy)

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5422

Summary: Change interface file for new Romani Wikipedia (rmy)
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: User interface
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@...
        ReportedBy: rowikipedia@...

Hi,

The Romani Wikipedia that was set up a few days ago has its interface in the
English language, as there is no LanguageRmy.php interface file on the CVS yet.

It would be great if the interface could be updated to the Romany version, the
updated file of which is located at:

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/LanguageRmy.php

(I understand that this uses the obsolete system, but the file itself is updated
and correct).

Would it be possible to make that file the default interface for the Romani
Wikipedia at http://rmy.wikipedia.org ?

[Bug 5413] Image links when no image is present (to eswiki)

Following that reasoning, you could then change all the wikis to make them equal :P

The change it's a bit like the Community Portal, set before the VillagePump,
where you have more options. Experienced users from ANY wiki (even non
spanish-speakers) shouldn't have any problem finding the upload page. Plus, you
still have the Upload file link on the toolbox.

The feature was added to make easier uploading files to the wiki (right?) but
now it's better to upload them on commons so such fast to upload is not so
needed (specially if you take into account that most images uploaded will need
to be deleted...). What i'm trying to do is similar to a image portal, trying to
group the different things you may want to do about that image: uploading it,
look for it, see why it was deleted...

[Bug 5423] New: Change the message (that the page is protected) if protected to "sysop" or to "autoconfirmed"

http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5423

Summary: Change the message (that the page is protected) if
protected to "sysop" or to "autoconfirmed"
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: 1.6-cvs
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Page editing
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@...
        ReportedBy: mail@...

The message says that the page is protected should be different if the page is
protected for "sysop" and you are not a sysop, or the page is protected for
"autoconfirmed" and you are not an autoconfirmed user.

And again, I want to create the patch, for I will be able to update also
MessagesHe.php.
