Summary: Cologne Blue displays old links in browser colors

Initial Comment:
In the Cologne blue theme for Wikipedia, the stylesheet
has recently been changed. It used to be that links in
your cache were displayed as blue, but now they are the
browser default. This is really annoying because now
they are the same color as stubs. This happens for both
internal and external links.

[ wikipedia-Bugs-827392 ] No color specified for the text in the stylesheet

Summary: No color specified for the text in the stylesheet

Initial Comment:
The stylesheet used by Wikipedia does defines colors
for the background but doesn't define a color for the
text... as I configure my browser to use white text on
black background by default, I generaly get white text
on white background while visiting Wikipedia.

Summary: Every page should have a "Who is watching" link

Initial Comment:
While editing an article, I often want to know how many
users have the particular page on their Watchlist. So that
I can know that such and such person will be intimated
when I finish editing the article.

It does happen that persons who have contributed to the
article remove it from their Watchlist. If there was this
feature that could show me if someone who had
contributed heavily to the article was not right now
watching the article, I could personally message him on
his talk page to have a look at my changes.

[ wikipedia-Bugs-827757 ] Style changes in deleted pages can cause unclosed HTML tags

Summary: Style changes in deleted pages can cause unclosed HTML tags

Initial Comment:
When pages are deleted where the start of the deleted
article contains ticks causing STRONG or EM tags to be
printed in the deletion log, problems can occur. If the
ticks are not closed by the end of the snippet of
previous content, the HTML tags will remain open,
causing formatting problems on subsequent entries.

That was quite a difficult thing to explain clearly,
but if you look at the deletion log entry for "Acronym
for" on 19 October 2003 in the context of the rest of
the month, this problem is demonstrated perfectly.

Summary: Redirects to protected pages appear editable but are not.

Initial Comment:
http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hizballah is a redirect
to http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah.

Both are protected, but if you enter Hezbollah via
Hizballah, you can see the edit links and the "edit
this page" link.

It's not a big issue, but potentially confusing.

[ wikipedia-Feature Requests-828120 ] change "oldid" to "id"

Summary: change "oldid" to "id"

Initial Comment:
The way of adressing Wiki articles via the "oldid" makes it
very difficult to cite an article in a valid bibliographical
format. Using the URL as reference always refers to the
actual article instead of the one cited.

Instead of creating an "oldid" when an article is changed
again, better create and show an "id" referring to the
actual version (maybe date and timestamp or
versionnumber). The Article should be accessible by this id.

Initial Comment:
Apparently there used to be two identical pages -- one
...wiki/GABA and the other
...wiki/Gamma-aminobutyric_acid. The second of these
has been up-dated but the first one cannot be edited.
Now the two pages are not identical.
