bild von johann heinrich füssli, woher kommt in wikidata der alternative name?

hi,

weiss von euch wer wie man im wikidata einen alternativen namen
einträgt? ich habe bei einem bild:

ein {{Creator:Johann Heinrich Füssli}} template eingefügt. seitdem
heisst er "henry fuseli", und unter "alternativnamen" steht "english:
henry fuseli".

das bild stammt übrigens aus dem upload der zentralbibliothek zürich,
müsst auf die detaillierteste auflösung gehen, da sieht man jeden
bleistiftstrich. das originalformat (TIFF) ist übrigens auch verlinkt.

Making your Chapter Agreement public

Hi,

I'm presently working on making all the chapter agreements between Chapters and the WMF public, by publishing them on Meta at <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Chapter_Agreements>.

The majority of chapters have already made their chapter agreements public but as far as I can tell Wikimedia CH and a few others still have their agreements only on the private internal wiki (which I believe is in the process of being shut down).

From what I understand, the WMF is okay with chapters publishing the custom versions, but this needs the consent of the chapter. Please can you tell me who would be the best person to ask to make Wikimedia CH's agreement public?

Join the Wiki Loves Monuments working group!

Dear all,
 
At the General Assembly on 27 April in Neuchâtel a new Wikimedia CH working group for Wiki Loves Monuments has been constituted. For those of you who didn't attend the GA: There's a workspace on the Members wiki containing all relevant informations: http://members.wikimedia.ch/Working_groups/Wiki_Loves_Monuments
 
The new working group seeks to support the organisation and implementation of the photo contest Wiki Loves Monuments. In order to take place for the third year in a row in our country, the contest needs a small, but dedicated team of volunteers who is defining a realistic structure and goal for the upcoming edition. If the workload isn't too heavy and the Board agrees with the guidelines, the team will continue with the preparations for the contest. 
 
Given that the contest is bound to take place in September, the group needs to hold a launch meeting soon. The place for the meeting is in Bern, the date hasn't been chosen yet. If the loading of the page is slow... it's not your fault. It's just the
WMCH server which is again experimenting a near death experience... We
have probably too much traffic...

== Offline ==

* Successful first Offline Hackathon, a first version of Kiwix for
Android was release. We have made a post on the Wikimedia official blog.
Until now we gain ~30 new active (without un-installations) users per days.
* Two Kiwix developers (Renaud & Emmanuel) will be present a few days
before Wikimania to have a small Kiwix hackathon (preparing release of
0.9rc3), attend to the Wikimedia hacking days.
* Kiwix will be the topic of two presentation at Wikimania 2013: Kiwix
of the 7 ways to go Offline and Beyond Afripedia: Mali Experience. Both
are in the TOP20 of presentation proposals by the number of interested
people.
* WMCH will have its own permanent booth during Wikimania and will
advert their offline efforts during the whole conference, organization
work has started.
* openZIM has finally released a first version of its standard
implementation code: the zimlib. This is mandatory for the phpzim
project and for Fedora and Debian packagers.
* Kiwix was again Feature project for a week on Sourceforge
* First trial of a Wikisource ZIM file, it works but still a few bugs to
fix.
* For the first time, we have a Google Summer of code project proposal:
incremental update of ZIM files for Kiwix.

== Community building ==

* WMGH: Discussions if there should be WikiVillage or WLM this summer.
* WMTN: Sayada Initiative activity report published, Creation of the
CLibre association as a first step towards the creation of a chapter,
First actions taken to organize WLM later this year.
* All: 24 translations of Wickiana, one of Johann Jakob Wick. Amongst
them a couple of languages out of WMID. And rare languages like Kirundi.

Exhibition about Wikipedia?

dear all
during the last general assembly we visited the Ethnographical museum in Neuchâtel http://www.men.ch (below some more info about the museum [1]).

How about an exhibition about Wikipedia there?

The idea of an exhibition about Wikipedia actually comes from the museum director Marc-Olivier Gonseth, who launched the idea the first time we met last year. 

In those last weeks I have contacted 
1) Andrew Lih. during Wikimania 2012 he mentioned an exhibition is was working on. the exhibition is planned for end 2013-beginning of 2014 at the Computer history museum [2]. we are currently in contact to see if maybe we can bridge the two projects or learn from each over.
2) WMF to ask about other exhibition projects. for the moment no news.
3) the research group Open Online Communities which involves several researchers in different European countries and universities working on the topic of OOC and wikipedia (i am one of the research members). the group seems interested in contributing to provide content and research.

personally i think it can be a relevant project and it could be also designed as an itinerant show. 
of course the Ethnographical museum in Neuchâtel needs to be recontacted, but i think it would be nice to make a "wikipedia/wikimedia projects" (i like for example the approach of Andrew Lih of organising a meetup there.

what do you think? anyone interested in the idea? do you think WIkimedia CH could be involved?

[1] The Ethnographical museum in Neuchâtel is a small museum but it is considered in the anthropological field as one of the best museums. It has a very peculiar approach. All its exhibitions try to unpack culture and knowledge. They focus on the meta-discourse, and they use an historiographical approach, they detect critical issues, and they show how categories shape our perception of culture and the world. There is also a strong research work behind the exhibitions. I think it can be a very interesting place to develop an exhibition related to Wikipedia. Maybe we could envision an exhibition for 2015.
