l'html or le html/ de l'html or du html also what about xml xhtml


Hi, going through translations I've found two different ways to translate
the article and the word html;

I'm wondering if there is a preference for either:

le HTML 4.01

or

l'HTML 4.01

(also for de l'HTML or du HTML;

also same questions for XML and XHTML

le XML or l'XML??

I guess it depends on the context, but there might be a rule for this.

we say "l'UNESCO" but we say "le HCR"
so I would favor "le HTML"

I would say "du HTML"
