Re: Sorry for previous missing subject... manual

I apologize, but I do not think I undestand your question properly. Please
look at the IPR FAQ on translations and ask a mores specific question if
that does not satisfy you.

RE: Translation of your(W3C) Technical Imformal Reports(retry)

Dear Mr. Katuragawa,

I'm very sorry that my answer to your mail got so late.

We do not actually have any record of having approved any translations.
According to our Copyright FAQ
http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Legal/IPR-FAQ-20000620.html#translate,
we give automatic permission to
translate Technical Reports (documents listed on http://www.w3.org/TR/),
but not other documents.
For other documents, you have to ask for permission first.
In any case, you have to notify us of your intent to translate,
and not only of the final translation.

翻訳を許可した記録が残念ながら見つかりませんでした。Technical Report

Hello everyone, Silke, Stefan,

As I see it, the IPR FAQ should definately address the issues
mentioned here and previously. It's quite confusing for the new
readers to see the permission to translate and the lack of information
about where to place the translated document.

However, as people here like to say 'that's only the tip of the iceberg'.

Invitation to translate User Agent Accessibility Guidelines 1.0

Dear Translators,

I am pleased to announce the publication of the
User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG) 1.0 [1] as a
W3C Recommendation. UAAG 1.0 provides guidelines for
designing browsers and multimedia players that lower
barriers to Web accessibility for people with disabilities.

The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) has already benefitted
from the contributions of translators of WCAG 1.0 and ATAG 1.0,
and I hope will continue to find support for translations of
UAAG 1.0 (which we will list here [2]).

Thank you for your valuable work,

_ Ian Jacobs, editor of UAAG 1.0

Re: Invitation to translate User Agent Accessibility Guidelines 1.0

I had a quick look at the URLs and must say this is very reassuring indeed.
I am involved with similar/connected mission and would very much like to
show my great appreciation to all those involved in helping the visual,
hearing, physical, cognitive, and neurological unable. Assistive technology
plays a tremendous role in communicating with Application Programming
Interface (API), conventional input/output/device API through user agent.

Most impressed.
