Saturday ... July 3rd


I am thinking that I am going to go down to the Moose on saturday, July 
3rd ... Say around 2 o'clock and hang out for a while. Work with some 
zope zites, play tetrinet, whatever.

Its just been too long since there has been anything resembling a 
meeting. If anyone wants to come down and gab about Free software, 
speech, creative common's, linux, hurd, Free software on windows/Mac 
... whatever, i'll be there till at least 3. I'll hang around longer if 
people show up by then, all night if there is an interest in discussing 
stuff. ;-)

I'm not even sure who is in town right now, But I would like to discuss 
strategies with the group for the coming school year that we can use to 
promote Free Software around town at some point before the fall 
semester starts.

I’m sorry, I will be out of town this weekend although I’m free next
weekend. I hope others who are around make it to the Moose and please
post minutes of the discussion :)

Thanks for taking the initiative on this, I'll do my best to attend.  
I'm not 100% sure I can make it on the 3rd, but anytime next week after 
the 6th should be good for me.

Holiday weekend doesn't seem to be a good time for many
people, myself included. I'm going to commit to being at
the Moose *NEXT* Saturday, July 10 at 2:00pm.

Good point. When i originally posted I figured most people would be 
around, twiddling their thumbs.

I'll be at the Moose on both the 3rd and the 10th. :)

zope and plone

I finally got around to setting up zope and plone, I even have a demo 
site at http://plone.morfree.org

Now we can discuss what all we want to do with it.

plone work

Me and Michael Bond did some good work on the morfree plone2 site.  We 
did a custom graphic for MorFREE using the gimp.  As you'll notice, my 
graphic sucks, if someone actually has some talent it'd be cool to get a 
decent MorFREE logo.  In addition to the graphic, we also setup a wiki 
that is embedded into the plone site.

If you would like access modify the wiki or plone in general, go ahead 
and create an account through the plone interface, and email me or 
Michael Bond for access.
