This Week In The WUGLUG
Hi all!
The following events are planned for this week:
- Wednesday: WUGLUG PUBGLUG, in the Phantom Coach though, as ever, a
group of us will be meeting just outside the Learning Grid
to wander down there together.
- Friday: XING Is Not Gaming. We will be meeting in the lobby of the
Department of Computer Science at 8pm on Friday evening,
for our weekly evening of coding, hacking and desperately
trying to avoid breaking any servers. There is likely to
be further work on the new servers, as well as the WUGLUG
LiveCD. This week will also coincide with the return of
gaming, also in DCS, so it promises to be a lot of fun.
There may well also be a QING (QING Is Not Gaming) on Saturday evening,
depending on people's interest toward the end of the week. There will
not be (planned) gaming running alongside.
The new organising committee has been elected, it being:
- Secretary: Brad Smith (Brad)
- Advocacy Officer: Tim Monks (monk)
- Projects Office: Chris Lamb (lamby)
As such, this is the last newsletter you will be receiving from me (and
perhaps the first...) as Brad will be taking up his responsibility from
next week.
I hope to see you over the next week!
Dan
