experimental unified package xvnkb-unikey-scim

Thí nghiệm với bộ gõ chữ việt  xvnkb-scim-unikey

Chạy livecd-ubuntu-8.04-hardy-heron .  Mở với firefox một trong 2 điểm
kết nối sau đây

Khi tải xong nó sẽ mở và hỏi có cài không : clic vào install . Cài xong
sẽ có 3 icons  trên bàn giấy :

  xvnkb_gedit   xvnkb_oowriter   và  unikey_oowriter .

  Nhấn vào xvnkb_gedit  sẽ mở sọan thảo gedit với khả năng có đủ cả 3 bộ
gõ chữ việt ,muốn chọn cái nào ,lúc nào trong thao tác gõ đều chạy !
  Để chọn  clic chuột phải trong khung gedit ,chọn input method rồi một
trong 3 cái
    scim input method    unikey input    X input method   thì sẽ chạy
với  scim/unikey/xvnkb  !

  Ai nói là các bộ gõ này dị ứng với nhau ? Sẽ phân giải chi tiết trong
sợi này

Ubuntu linux 8.04 Hardy Heron Release Party -- Chào ?ón Hardy Heron -

Nhân dịp sự ra đời của Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, Trung tâm CNF của AUF tại ngõ
42 Tạ Quang Bửu (ĐT: 04-868.48.85) sẽ tổ chức một số sinh họat ngày thứ
bảy 10/05/2008, từ 8g30 đến 17g30) như sau:

1) Trung tâm CNF sẽ phát miễn phí 50 bộ đĩa CD (1 bộ = Ubuntu 8.04 live
CD desktop + Hanoilug aptoncd to customize Ubuntu 8.04) cho những bạn
đến trong ngày thứ bảy 10/05/2008.

2) Sáng thứ bảy 11/05/2008 (lúc 9g sáng) sẽ demo dùng Wubi cài Ubuntu
trong môi trường Windows XP Home.

3) Install-party: Các bạn muốn cài Ubuntu 8.04, hoặc nâng cấp 7.10 lên
8.04, có thể đăng ký để mang máy tính đến trung tâm CNF thực hiện trong
ngày đó (chú ý, quá trình nâng cấp hoặc cài đặt cũng phải mất trên dưới
60 phút, tùy theo cấu hình máy).

Các bạn Hanoilug muốn giúp tay trong ngày 10/05 (chủ yếu cho bộ phận
install-party), xin liên hệ với tôi.

Các bạn hanoilug đang là cán bộ các Trường Viện nghiên cứu, có thể tranh
thủ để vận động bạn bè (sinh viên, cán bộ) để đến tham gia ngày đó theo
nhóm (có đăng ký trước = CNF có thể dành cho nhóm một máy để làm thao
tác cài đâựt đêmô, và bố trí phát CD riêng cho nhóm).

                                    Experimental unified package
xvnkb-scim-unikey

As packager ,you never know what people have in mind ,nor what they
installed on their machine .
The only way is to produce packages working with livecd ,hoping they
will fit to most situations installed with those distributions.
 A drawback with livecd is environment constraints with scim - since
there is no livecd with built-in xvnkb/unikey . To take 
only Gnome based distros ,two livecd can have quite different ways to
register input modules to GTK .

      Just install it with  'sudo dpkg -i  pkg.deb '  or  ' sudo rpm  -i
pkg.rpm ' . In case of installation errors ,mostly because
of previous installed module/lib mainly with scim -ie
m17n-db,libm17n, ...- just put option force install to overcome it.

                     sudo  dpkg  -i  --force-overwrite   pkg.deb   

                     sudo  rpm  -i   --replacefiles   pkg.rpm

  Tests have been done with ubuntu-7.10/8.04 for the deb's pkg  and
fedora8-live-i686  for the rpm's pkg .

                xvnkb-scim-unikey  và livecd  Centos-5.1

  Vì Centos chưa  cài input method nào cả  sau khi khởi livecd  clic
add/remove   và chọn  scim-m17n , packager sẽ tự 
động  cài các dependencies cho
Tiếp theo vào  vnoss forum clic vào

tải về rôi cài từ terminal  gõ 

        sudo  rpm  -i  /Desktop/xvnkb-scim-unikey-0-2.noarch.rpm

thế là cài xong  ***

  Tuy nhiên input method không hiển thị  ,mà cái  im-chooser  của Centos
có vấn đề  : phải  clic icon enable_input trên desktop  , cũng như với
fedora  !
Kết  luận  Centos cho phép chạy xvnkb-scim-unikey-livecd

***  chú ý : lý do phải làm 'sudo rpm' vì cài với packager 'nó'  không

  Install one of the above package allows using xvnkb on any distro
including recent livecd (having unionfs or aufs installed ).

Description: Vietnamese input keyboard xvnkb  for ubuntu-hardy heron
 xvnkb built by ntdt in 2005 is good enough for any linux;just learn to
use it correctly ,no need to recompile !
  1 export correct locale   en_US.utf8  which is standard in
locale.archive (type "locale -a" to get them all )
  2 set correct XMODIFIERS="@im=xvnkb" not to be mixed up with
XMODIFIERS="@im=xim or none" at least for ubuntu-8.04
    this avoid disappearing character when typing complex composed vowel
( o^? for ex)
  3  xvnkb cannot ,will never be able to run system wide ,so why setting
up /etc/ld.so.preload to contain xvnkb.so.0.2.9 ?
    Remove this /etc/ld.so.preload ! nobody uses such thing on any
distro now ;use it locally in a wrapper like
    xvnkb_wrapper ! It is far more safer ,and do not create stupid side
effects -troubles on other items in system-
     As hamradio people says K.I.S.S.  !!!  give a kiss !! Keep It
Simple Stupid  !
 we take that into account when creating the icons on Desktop to start

Kubuntu livecd and unified pack xvnkb-scim-unikey


                   xvnkb-scim-unikey  và  livecd Kubuntu-8.04/7.04

Chạy livecd kubuntu ,cài "scim-gtk2-immodule , scim-modules-table  và
gconf2 " với  adept-manager 
(tựa như synaptic của ubuntu) ;
nhớ là phải bật lên universe_repo  vì mặc định ở trạng off . Kế tiếp cài
xvnkb-scim-unikey-ubuntuhardy.deb với dpkg.

  Thử ngay với kwrite_xvnkb trên desktop ,phải đổi font từ monospace
sang  DejaSansSerif  : gõ chữ việt ok .

  Tuy nhiên ,vì kubuntu dòng giống kde -khác loài với gtk - , không có
cách nào 'chuột' vào để đổi kiểu gõ như với ubuntu !

  Để cấu hình scim ,chạy sudo
sh /etc/X11/Xsession.d/74custom_scim_startup  rồi chọn check_off dòng
scim global  : share the same input method among all applications ;  Làm
như vậy sẽ cho phép mở apps với kiểu gõ khác nhau !
  Kế tiếp phải  restartx lại (chuột vào K --switch user -- start new
session )  ,ghi user : ubuntu  nopassword 

   Lý do của  chuyện khó khăn :

  Nếu trong /etc/X11/Xsession.d/74custom_scim_start  có dòng " export
QT_IM_MODULE="scim" thì có vấn đề !
Bên ubuntu_gnome không vấn đề vì không cài qt-immodule ; nhưng kubuntu
đã cài sẵn  scim-qtimm và skim ! 
 (nguyên nhân chính là ...chỉ để phục vụ màu mè biểu tượng xinh nhỏ hơn
với biểu tượng của gnome  !!!!!)
