OT ReactOS 0.3.5 delayed...

I got some nasty feedback pointing this out. Many posts complaining
that an open source
operating system is not constrained by time limits. A few comments
about hacks. One post
claimed that I need to help instead of pointing this out.

On my Pentium 4 running CentOS 5 I can run Warcraft II BNE under wine.
It works, but
it is so slow that it is unplayable. I have crossover linux standard,
albeit my version is out of
support and potentially old. One thing I don't need Windows for is
Microsoft Office 2000,
though that is getting old too. I try to avoid using it, I just have it
in case I need to make
sure that a word document create by OO will look okay in word.

They said April and that changed to May and now it is June. If ReactOS
reaches 0.4.x it will
be in it's final alpha stage, but at this rate that isn't going to
happen this year.

How much Windows software can Linux emulate without having a comparable
architecture?

George,

This might show up as an duplicate since I'm not sure if my Blink Sale
account can get past Mailporter.

SUSE auto upgradeder

I just upgraded my 64 bit machine to SUSE 10.3 from 9.3 and I am still trying
to get it working properly.  It hasn't been easy.
Does anyone know how to set up the automatic updater for SUSE 10.3?  I need to
know what windows to open and what information goes in each field.

OO.o Display Fonts

I've posted this question on the OO.o mail list, but no one's responded
and I need to send out a proposal today; perhaps someone here has a solution
for me.

Recently I upgraded from OO.o-2.1 to -2.4. When I invoke the new version,
the display typeface (and the pdf typeface) is a san-serif font regardless
of what typeface has been selected. However, the typeface widget on the top
of the frame shows the desired fonts when the cursor is on text.

I've run spadmin and ensured that all the desired typefaces are available,
but I've no idea why they don't properly display. Any thoughts?

Test Message: Testing to see if the list is working.

Sorry for posting this, but the list doesn't seem to be working.

I'd say a lot--probably more than a third of the Windows applications I have tried to use under WINE have
performed satisfactorily. If so, that would be a higher level of performance than ReactOS has yet shown
with Windows applications.
