and my point is that without shell access, maintaining/repairing/rescuing a 
secure wiki and mysql db is not possible. And cpanel is not free software 
anyway.

Is your audio card configured? If it is, look at Preferences. There
might be some option where you choose your audio device.
Also, try running avidemux as root. At times, some distros
(I doubt if Ubuntu would), disable people not in the "audio" group
from using audio devices

Mail Server

Dear Friends

      I have configured DNS server with our support. I like to configure the
Mail server. I don't know which one mail server is the best of local LAN use
only. I have searched Google. I got lot of mail server. For example
postfix, qmail, sendmail and etc.. I give me good suggestion and
installations procedure.

apt-get install postfix (or) yum install postfix (or) urpmi install postfix (or) 
emerge postfix (depends on which distro you are using)
