Still on the lookout for source and documentation CDs. Does someone have
them and further, a question out of ignorance, is it "copyright"ably OK
to copy these CDs - just curious ?

Thanks,
Sudhir.P

Woody

Hi
Anybody running woody?

I - in a momeny of rashness - made my notebook a complete woody box.
I have a problem with X. I cannot configure it:-(

It was running fine under slink and also spider monkeys gnome extensions

I ran anXious (xf86config and XF86Setup arenot available) and it created
the XF86Config file; it looks alright to me. But startx bails out with a
mssage that there are no screens. Any ideas?

I had the EXACT same problem just a few minutes ago. In my case, on a
desktop.

ITYM potato.

Are you sure you ran anXious and not xf86cfg? xf86cfg is the new
configuration script. But it still bailed out with an error in my case.

I ran anXious; because I did not know about xf86cfg! Will try with xf86cfg (I
left my notebook in the office.) and report.

	Also, you might find http://www.symonds.net/~ravi/i810-potato.doc
Sorry that it is in doc but somebody wanted only .DOC and I was (still am) too lazy to make html or whatever.
AFAIK it was created with Star Office 5.2 for Linux, and thanks to Zameer Ahmed for writing it up.
