Did you turn LACP on on the switch? Can you can provide the gigE and
portchannel int config, as well as a show etherchannel or show int
poXX etherchannel.

Xen is somehow deprecated. You considered KVM?

Re: Need help with NIC bonding in Linux

I don't know enough Cisco stuff to manage our switches. So, I let our Cisco engineers maintain our Cisco switches. I think he used PAgP. At this point, no need to change anything on the switches because everything seems to be working fine. Do you have a good method to verify that the virtual port can exceed 1 GB bandwidth?

I have never used KVM. Is KVM better than Xen? In what way? How is it comparing to VMware?

Printer ribbon for Panasonic KX-P2624?

Hi folks;
Does anyone know of a source for printer ribbons that actually print for a
Panasonic KX-P2624 printer? The Panasonic number is KX-P155. I've ordered
from three sources but they were all OLD and mostly dried up. The ones I have
don't have any way to re-ink them.

I have a Brother HL-1440 laser printer for everyday use but want to use the
Panasonic for long listings (not good on a laser). I've had that old Panasonic
seemly forever but it just keeps going except for the ribbon for which my
supply has run out.

I've googled for recycled cartridges but they all say NEW (how old can it be
and still be new?). Any of you guys/gals know of a source for
re-inked/recycled cartridges?

Surely there must be a place which can re-ink them somewhere.

Thanks, Tom

Re: Printer ribbon for Panasonic KX-P2624?

You used to be able to buy the preinked ribbon itself on spindles or
spools which could either be dropped into your cartridge body, if you
can find the right design, or rewound on the original one from your
cartridge. (hopefully with the help of a motorized contraption, though
I did it once by hand)

A google search on "inked nylon ribbon" seems to indicate that such
things are still available.

Info to log file?

I must not understand the exec command.

I have in inittab:

SE:25:once:su artisan -c "/home/artisan/ase >/home/artisan/aselog 2>&1"

and in the file ase I have

exec ./sep <arguments>

I was expecting the stdout from sep to end up in file aselog, but
it seems to disappear. ase runs, and the file aselog conains only
the output from the script ase. Is there something I can do to run
sep from the script with the same stdin and stderr as the script?

Thanks.
