Re: Mobilink to take over Warid???’

More than anything else its about saving Mobilink's future in the industry. It not about saving Warid. The way and at the speed Mobilink's market share, brand sanity and consumer base is reducing, by end of next year Mobilink add per quarter will be lower than every other operator.

The Warid takeover would be Mobilink's fallback arrangement and a 'safety net' to secure their brand.

Thanks.

Oh this is very very bad :(

I hope someone from outside can buy it out, and the deal would break there is so many who keep asking me for deals like this, they would be so disappointed.

Warid can sell for so much well, consolidation is NOT GOOD !!!!!

There’r strong rumors that Warid is going to sell its ventures and
Mobilink has intentions to have it.

Re: Mobilink to take over Warid???’

I heard Ericsson has got the project of Network Merger.
Ericsson is also hiring for the same.

The thing that surprises me is that OTH & Ericsson do not have good
relations, so how about OTH giving Ericsson such a huge project?

What happens to the extra license if this deal goes through? Can PTA auction it again?

Re: Mobilink to take over Warid???’

It seems like the takeover is in the offing. I look forward to CCP's reaction on it keeping in view PTA had issued 5 GSM licenses.
