Dear all, Mau bertanya apakah ada yang punya pengalaman apply dependent visa buat close relative (keponakan) mohon kiranya bisa berbagi pengalaman. Sedikit background, my niece lost her mum after childbirth (ayahnya adalah kakak laki-laki saya) dan sejak lahir sayalah yg telah membesarkan anak ini sampai akhirnya saya menikah dgn pria berkebangsaan INggris dan akhirnya menetap di LOndon in 2008. Dari awal memang sudah berencana utk membawa anak ini, namun kami baru siap utk melakukannya tahun ini. Hi all, Saya harus memperpanjang Tier 1 visa untuk saya dan dependant by April 2012. Karena saya harus sering2 travel ke luar UK di tahun 2012 ini, saya (main applicant) harus meng-extend tier 1 visa saya via premium service, supaya bisa mendapatkan perpanjangan (termasuk Biometrics) dalam 7 hari kerja. Akan tetapi, untuk dependant, saya berpikir, kenapa mereka tidak saya extend via post saja, sesudah saya mendapatkan perpanjangan Tier 1 saya. Bisa hemat £300 seorang. Walaupun prosesnya lama, tapi mereka toh tidak perlu travel semasa itu. Saya baca di website UKBA dan tidak menemukan aturan yg melarang main applicant dan dependant memperpanjang Tier 1 visa secara terpisah. Saya sudah telepon ke Croydon Public Enquiry juga, dan mereka bilang cara seperti itu bisa dilakukan. Apakah rekan-rekan indoexpat mempunyai pengalaman serupa? Mohon di-share experience-nya soal ini, karena saya ingin tahu apa ada ruginya kalau menggunakan metode di atas. Ada satu pertanyaan lagi: Saya dengar kalau applying via post, semasa dalam proses, walaupun visa kita sudah expired, tapi kita tetap berhak tinggal di UK. Apa ini benar?Misalnya: Visa saya berakhir 30 Apr 2012, dan saya sudah apply per 15 Apr 2012 via post, tetapi belum mendapatkan jawaban sampai bulan Mei 2012. Apa benar saya bisa tetap tinggal di UK sampai saya mendapatkan keputusan visa saya di bulan Mei 2012? Terima kasih sebelumnya atas tanggapannya.
