[chandler-dev] Building Chandler on Ubuntu Lucid

I've successfully managed to get Chandler to build on Ubuntu Lucid - essentially, the only change to the current subversion head was that all of the Makefiles needed to be updated to reflect the fact that the distribution name was Lucid - I've attached a patch.

The only other change then required is to modify the version in debian/changelog (I added a suffix to the last version) and then to create a new tarball with the changes to the original in it with the same name as the one in the changelog.

This version seems to work OK for me but I haven't tested it much.  Unfortunately, I haven't got anywhere to upload the .deb file; perhaps someone at OSAF would be willing to update the Makefiles and tag and build a new release?

Regards,
Owen Morris

Re: [chandler-dev] Building Chandler on Ubuntu Lucid

Great news; given the alternatives of sticking two versions out of
date with Ubuntu or regretfully ditching Chandler, I was starting to
think that I would have to ditch Chandler. Please OSAF, build us a new
release.

Re: [chandler-dev] [chandler-users] Address Book - How to install?

Hi John,
Interesting, I hadn't run across that information before. It looks as
though it is a project which was never completed and didn't make it
into the Chandler 1.0 release. I'm sending this reply to the
chandler-dev mailing list in the hope that someone there can shed some
light on it.
