What are you using?

Chandler had a lot of promise when it first came out. It was shinny, new
and provided functionality not readily available elsewhere.

It stopped being in active development a long time back.

Curious: What have others moved on to (and why are you still on this
list if you've moved on?)

I've tried:
Google Tasks
Any.do
Wunderlist
Wrike

All, to various degrees, accomplish what I need... But can't seem to
settle on any one of them.

I'm still on this list in the hope that a miracle might happen and the
project might get kicked back into gear... :)

I *am* hitting the Tomcat process directly. It is the only thing
listening to the designated port, not Apache, so there are no rewrite
rules in play. I know that Tomcat is at least responding because I get
the front page.

(I'm on CentOS 7)

I'll take a look. There's been low, but occasional, traffic on this
list so I figured low hope was better than none.

That is possible, I guess, but I do get the front page when navigating
via web browser. It's only when trying to click onto the login link
that I get the error. That suggests to me that Tomcat itself is
running, but there's a problem in the back-end works.

Yes - all the files were in the same branch of the directory tree, and I
copied all of it.

error on login: The requested resource (/chandler/login) is not available.

Hopefully, someone will have seen this and have a suggestion. My server
crashed, and while I was able to access all data I did need to move
everything to a new server. This includes both the Chandler server
installation and the MySQL data files.

I am able to bring up the main page, but get the error (in subject) when
trying to bring up the login page. I see nothing more informative in
the access_log (just the 404 error). I still have access to the old
drive; what should I be looking for? The two directory trees look
identical...

Thanks in advance,
 -Do

Hi Stuart
chandler was the best programme out there. I just don't know why it wasn't supported in the end. There is simply nothing else as good but it does lack support and some integration so i had to let it go.If someone took up the mantle it would make millons i reckon!

Trouble with subscribe with NAS Synology

Hi,

I have a NAS Synology and I try to connect Chandler to have a calendar on 5 computers. The NAS is on our LAN 192.168.XXX.XXX

When I try to subscribe with this URL : http://192.168.XXX.XXX:5005/Agendas/NH

On the Synology, I have WebDav ans Caldav ok on this File (Agenda/NH).

I have the error below :

Python Version: 2.5.1 (r251:54863, Apr 11 2009, 05:21:42) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)]
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "D:\Chandler\application\Application.py", line 1329, in OnMainThreadCallbackEvent
    event.target(*event.args, **event.kwds)
File "D:\Chandler\util\task.py", line 110, in mainCallback
    f(x)
File "D:\Chandler\application\dialogs\SubscribeCollection.py", line 287, in error
    self._shareError(err)
File "D:\Chandler\application\dialogs\SubscribeCollection.py", line 237, in _shareError
    text = "%s\n\n%s\n\n%s" % (self.url, summary, extended)
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 4: ordinal not in range(128)

I don-t really understand where is the trouble.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Norbert Hadjadj
