IRC Office Hours, Wednesday, 11 January 2006, 11AM PST

With the start of the new year, we are resuming our bi-weekly irc chat schedule. For information on how to
join in the irc discussions,  links to the upcoming chat schedule, and logs of previous chats - visit the

This week during the IRC office hour Sheila and Katie will lead a discussion debriefing the Chandler 0.6
release and launch.

We want feedback about your experiences (good or bad) with this release so that we can make the 0.7 launch
even better than 0.6.

If you didn't have a chance to look at Chandler 0.6 yet, go to http://chandler.osafoundation.org to read
all about it and download the version for your computer.

Please welcome Mikeal Rogers to the QA Team

Please join me in welcoming Mikeal Rogers to the QA Team. Mikeal joins 
us from Real Networks. He's been addicted to Unix-based systems and open 
source projects since the age of 13.While at RealNetworks Mikeal was a 
QA Engineer for Helix Server and the QA Project Lead for Helix Client 
which included the RealPlayer releases for Mac and Windows. Mikeal will 
be leading the testing effort on Chandler and his first task is to 
continue driving and expanding CATS, our testing framework.

Earlier this week, a bunch of us met in person and talked about the 0.6 
release. We framed the feedback this way: What could we have done "more 
of"? What should we have done "less of"? What would we do the "same as"? 
What are still "open questions"?
