Re: [WISPA] Google Map filling in nicely. + New Prospect 4 WISP in 95220

Hey Robert. When I click on your top link for Wireless Internet coverage
all I get is a sales ad for EVDO. What gives? I put my company
information into the database. Search for Mt. Vernon, IL. 62864 and see
if you get anything different. If this is not going to link to data for
WISPs then we have a problem.
Thanks,
Scriv

Re: [WISPA] Google Map filling in nicely. + New Prospect 4 WISP in 95220

John, gmorn.. well if we are on the same page...

the link to each wisp is in the popup bubble of each wisp... these links will allways go to the wisp directly.. for tracking.. i may build in a step over page... but will always link directly to the individual wisp.

As far as a link to WISPA... the direct link to the WISPA.org site is the 4th checkbox...

boingo links to boingo
iproamer goes to iproamer
evdo goes to my site
and wisp goes to wispa...

is this what you're asking??

oh... wait... are you talking about the TOP LINK??? where it says.. WISP and WIRELESS INTERNET??? no prob... lemme link to wispa.org... unless you want the link to go elsewhere... lemme know...

I click on the link for my WISP, www.nwwnet.net, and get a page not found area.  NewWays is the one in East Central Indiana.

Brad,
Why don't you contribute some constructive information WISPA could use
to develop a response that gives us a reason to favor your position and
helps us in our efforts to make use of this band. If contention based
systems will not work then why did the FCC stipulate this in their

Yeah, those are me, I have given up on trying to get this thing to work.  I have totally wasted at least two hours of my time trying to figure out the poor documentation on this site.  Maybe you can help Robert with the instructions as I see that you have successfully accomplished getting your sites up.

RE: [WISPA] Google Map filling in nicely. + New Prospect 4 WISP in95220

I think the key is, and this was totally an accident on my part.  I used the "Map GEO Position" with the coordinates of my tower to see if there was anything nearby.  Then I put in my information.

After 2 hours, I wouldn't put in much time, but you might give it 2 more minutes with this one and see what happens.

What bothers me now is that I can not change my listing and my URL doesn't work.  Makes me look bad when it isn't my fault.

[WISPA] 5.8 GHz PtP - weaker RSLs

Good Morning, WISPA.

We have witnessed a decrease in five (5) TrangoLink10 5.8 GHz PtPs Received Signal Levels overnight.  These links are deployed in various geographic locations with an average 12 miles of separation between tower sites.  These links have been active for at least a year (some longer).  A decrease anywhere from 3 to 8 dB has been recorded in the RSLs with the exception of one (1) link which has had a 7 dB boost in signal.

Weather this morning is about the same as yesterday’s weather.  Clear and 72 degrees.

Did anyone else see lower signals this morning?  This is a weird issue to wake up to.

Thank you for your support.
