AS20130 (DePaul University) Leaving Chicago AADS

Hello Everyone,

AS20130 (DePaul University) is planning on shutting down it's OC-3 to
the Chicago AADS NAP Thursday April 29th at 11:00pm CDT.  I apologize
for the short notice.  If you are interessted in establishing a peering
session with us at either Starlight please contact us at
networks@...

We are also working on a presence at the Equinix/Chicago GigXchange, and
will be open for peering once we are established there (maybe up to a
year unfortunately).

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.  Otherwise,
thank you for peering with us, we hope that we can peer again!

Technical contact change for DePaul / AS 20130

For those of you that maintain detailed technical contact information
for peers and networks, please note that I will no longer be the
technical point of contact for DePaul University, AS 20130 after
Friday, October 3, 2003.

My primary DePaul email address of jtk@... will continue to
be valid for some time, but for network connectivity or related issues
in the future, please send email to the generic networks@...
email address.  I can assist in reaching the correct person at DePaul
if the need should ever arise.

FYI... I have accepted an offer from Northwestern University, AS 103,
and look forward to working with colleagues from there.

Northwestern University leaving AADS by end of August

AADS NAP on or before August 31st.  The exact termination date has
not been 
finalized.  We will still be peering at Starlight and would welcome

DePaul AADS unplanned outage Wednesday 2003-08-13

DePaul University, AS 20130 / PVC 4.58, restarted the routing process
on the border router facing AADS peers and upstreams this morning
between 06:30 and 06:45 US CDT.  This was done to alleviate a current
problem in production that is scheduled to be fixed this coming weekend.

DePaul AADS unexpected outage Wednesday 2003-08-06

DePaul University, AS 20130 / PVC 4.58, experienced an unexpected
outage of service at AADS for about 30 minutes between 19:00 and
20:00 US CDT.  The problem is currently being investigated with the
appropriate vendor involved.
