"Go to Congress" was the part Stallman missed when he decided to
create the bogus principle of "Copyleft" law and "non-contractual"
copyright licenses.

Bogus in bogus out.

In the hilarious Stallman bum's universe, a real estate lease is also
"not a contract" and tenants are automatically turned into trespassers
immediately retrospectively on a slightest breach of a lease agreement.
Welcome to the hilarious brain-free GNU zone.

alexander.

SFLC lawsuit strategy is slowly working!

"Study: GPL loses ground in open source development
By Matthew Broersma, ZDNet UK
Thursday, July 02, 2009 02:53 PM

The GNU General Public Licence is falling in popularity, according to
figures released by Black Duck that looked at all versions of the GPL
as a whole.

At the same time, Microsoft's open source software license, MS-PL, is
gaining ground in the open source realm, the company said in a report
Tuesday. . .

Black Duck attributed the decline in the GPL's dominance to
"pragmatism" on the part of software developers and users, who are
increasingly moving to licenses that place fewer restrictions on how
the code may be used."

http://www.zdnetasia.com/news/software/0,39044164,62055659,00.htm?scid=rss_z_nw

We see:
"... increasingly moving to licenses that place fewer restrictions on
how the code may be used" (supra).

So much for fraudulently attempting to redefine the meaning of "free"
in the English language. No one except for wingnut GNUtians really
believes the GPL is "free" as in "freedom".

Sincerely,
Rjack

They didn't specify the OS license for Google authored code. The
Chrome browser was BSD. The kernel license will be irrelevant
to the new non-kernel code.

By what psychic power did you ascertain this? All Google says is that it
will be open source.

It's a Linux kernel.
After that, they just say open source licence?

compile gnu in Windows

Hi,

Very sorry if I post my question in a wrong news group. I recently
downloaded "recode" from www.gnu.org. I want to compile it in MS Windows.
I tried to nmake but didn't find any .mak in the download folder. Can
someone point me a direction to educate me how to compile in Windows free
software from www.gnu.org? Any help is much appreciated.
