Riversdale Barge / Popular name for a narrowboat?

Steve the English fabricator at Riversdale, (Earnest's home on the
Shannon-Erne Waterway), dad was also called Ernest....
http://www.tuesdaynightclub.co.uk/Stuffimages/Img_2625.jpg
So now his narrowboat is finished he had to find a new name ;-)
(Incorportates his mum's chrisrtian names, Christine and Harriet)

Riversdale is desperately quiet on the hire and guest house front, so if
anyone want's to taste the Irish waterways, Graham would do a good deal to
impoverished Brits. New widebeam narrowboat hire boat just added to the
fleet.

The whole fleet in port.

The advantage for us moorers is that free time has meant that electricposts
and more waterpoints have (finally) been added.

Branson minibarge (40ft x 11ft4in) being built on spec, if anyone is
interested.

Re: Bourne End - the other one!

Talking of beer; The beer tent at Braunston last weekend ,were giving free
pints away in the last ten minutes before the bar closed at 5:45; well such
as the word of mouth efficiency, it worked incredibly well as the beer tent
filled up rather quickly !

Cheers !

I did, hence my thoughts for it being a safe haven, even if we did purloin
their beer delivery across the river :->

BTW, good real ale on tap too, even if a tad expensive at £3.20 a pint - but
this is the Thames....

I think it's some sort of literary version of the law of inverse
squares. The closer he gets to the home of the Bard, the worse his
typing gets.

I will try again
No the spill chocker has gone wrong, it is highlighting the word ahead
of the incorrect one, replacing the incorrect word, leaving the
incorrect one and dumping the word it highlighted. Don't ask me how,
but it has. It should have read
their prices weren't bad to start with
