Thanks!

I've checked the patches into the appropriate branches, with one change - it
doesn't immediately exit when capture() finishes if the exit status is
non-zero, it goes ahead and runs the taps, etc.. That's because somebody
contributed a similar change (which is in the 1.4 branch and the main branch)
so that, if you're reading a capture file, the taps, etc. will be run even if
there's an error reading the capture file. It still exits with an error exit
status.

[Bug 4900] MAC Address Name Resolution Not Working Properly

As of SVN #33401 enabling/disabling MAC Name Resolution and then clicking
"reload" (or "resolve name") will show resolved/unresolved MAC addresses as
appropriate.

IOW: stopping and then restarting Wireshark is not required for a MAC NAME
Resolution change to "show" in the display.

The code now produces the same results as Wireshark 1.2
That is: SVN 33401 fixes a reversion introduced in development in Wireshark
1.3....

I'm not queuing this change for the upcoming 1.4.0 release since the updated
code should be used a bit to make sure I haven't broken anything.

I expect that this fix will be included the 1.4.1 release.

I'm closing this bug as fixed since the problem described has been fixed and
the behavior is now the same as Wireshark 1.2. :)

That being said: it would probably be nice if the packet summary and packet

(From update of attachment 4841)
Committed in SVN #33404

I've fixed what appears to be a copy/paste error:

...=ep_alloc(sizeof(struct batman_packet_v10));

which I changed to:
...=ep_alloc(sizeof(struct batman_packet_v11));

Speaking of copy/paste:

There appears to be much common, repeated code for each of the versions.

Please consider if it is possible to have less repeated code in some manner ?
