--- Comment #3 from Jaap Keuter <jaap.keuter <at> xs4all.nl> 2008-09-01 04:08:37 PDT ---
Testing with the current release version (1.0.2) and setting the PPP dissectors
preference 'PPP Frame Checksum Type' to 16 bit show that the two captures match
up nicely.

Can you retest with this current version and close the bug if you find the
problem gone?

[Bug 2384] SMPP+ which is customized by Huawei company can't be decoded

https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2384

--- Comment #15 from Abhik Sarkar <sarkar.abhik <at> gmail.com> 2008-09-01 05:49:03 PDT ---
Sorry... I have been fairly busy with work/studies/family, so it's taking me a
while to develop this. But, the code for dissection of custom TLVs based on
dictionaries is already in a working state and needs some polishing and
hopefully the work on custom operations will follow that.

I have tried the newest build (1.0.99-SVN-26107) and the bug isn't present
there. The newest build works well.

What does 'dumpcap -D' show you? Try with and without sudo.

[Bug 2844] New: Wireshark on MacOS does not run when launched from case sensitive filesystem

https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2844

Summary: Wireshark on MacOS does not run when launched from case
                    sensitive filesystem
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: 1.0.2
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark
        AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs <at> wireshark.org
        ReportedBy: xvi <at> rpc1.org

Build Information:
Version 1.0.2 (SVN Rev 25698)
--
When on a case sensitive filesystem, Wireshark cannot be run. Some filenames do
not match the names by which they are referenced.E.g.
Wireshark.app/Contents/Resources/bin/wireshark-bin is referenced as
Wireshark-bin (uppercase W vs lowercase w).
To reproduce, create a case sensitive HFS+ disk image, copy Wireshark on it,
then (try to) launch it.
