Multiple subnets???

Hi I want to add another subnet to my metrix box -

Here is the uname from it: Linux "removedbyme" 2.4.29 #2 Sat Feb 5 15:12:16 PST 2005 i586 unknown

There currently are ath0, br0, and eth0 on the box ( and L0 of course)

The network admin before me set this up, and I am running out of IP space, and want to add another subnet - I can not get the next subnet in the line IE:  if I had 192.168.2.X and add 192.168.3.X no problem right?

So what I want to do is: 192.168.2.X and add 192.168.45.X ( all numbers made up )

But still not have 192.168.2 through 192.168.42 on the same network - just have 192.168.2 and 192.168.45 on the box.

So I think that this box is in a bridged mode as br0 exists - so I do not want to enable eth0 least I loose connectivity to the box.

And I do not want to have to re-address every client, to have an ordered subnet -

Any cool ideas out there?

Thanks in advance!
