Lucent RG-1000 password reset?

Hello Family,

Well, it serves me right I guess...

I took a chance and bought a RG-1000 wireless AP with no
powersupply.  Today I found the right one at Radio Shack, boots
fine.  Downloaded the default AP manager and "Freebase" and no
matter what I try I cannot reset the password.

I found a great bit of information on the Seattle list and came to a
dead end when all the links on this page proved to be no longer in
existance.

Am I to just throw this in the garbage or is there "ANY" hope to get
it working?

Very neat.  A CD-run image of LINUX, including NO-CAT that defaults to go to THEIR authentication server,
with an option to 
use YOURS (by using a floppy).
THE DISTRIBUTION itself runs off of a floppy!
