Hi Yogesh,
I did some google with your error message and I found 203 occurencies.
It's normally related to X server configuration. As thinstation does
auto configuration, something must be different for the software. Open
a console session and inspect the file /var/log/XFree86.0.log. In the
end of this file you will see a more detailed reason for the failure. To
get this done, you will have to:
- Press Ctrl/Alt/F2; you will see a prompt "Please press Enter to
activate this console"
- Do it (press enter); you will see "XXX login: ", where XXX is the
station name;
- enter "root<enter>"; you will see "Password: "
- enter the password you gave at "build.conf" or the default
"pleasechangeme";
you will see "XXX:/tmp/profile# "
- Now you have to enter "cat /var/log/XFree86.0.log" or "more
/var/log/XFree86.0.log". It's a big file. Mine has 1665 lines and
normally, at the end you have the reason of failure.
Forgive me this step by step above, but as I feel your urgency, I
decided to prevent a new email iteration before you get more data to
progress your trouble.
Have a nice sunday!
Osvaldo.
