Openthinclient in existing PXE environment

My question is, how does one setup an existing PXE menu on an existing TFTP server to boot the
OpenthinclientOS?  Or, if this is an option, since my existing TFTP environment is on Ubuntu 12.04, can I
install the OTC server there and just do soft links?

Tftp error

I have had openthinclient working fine for over a year.....all of a
sudden I am getting tftp error

java = java 7 update 21
OS = Windows server 2008 r2
OTC = latest version 1.0.0

connect to the default relm

and boot the pxe machine

openthiclient manager should recognise the pxe machine.

but for me it ownt recognise why?

i have a question where are the other nodes like clients, etcc..?

Dual monitors with RDP

Hi Folks,

I have a Windows Server 2008 RDS server that my thin clients are connecting to.

I would like to be able to use dual monitors for the RDP session.

I tried adding the /multimon and /span parameter to the RDP application parameters, but that did not work.

Has anyone had success with this type of set up?

VNC rejects connection after timeout

Hi,

I would like to change the vnc settings. VNC rejects connections after the timeout of 30 seconds, I would like to accept connections after the timeout.

I found a process that shows that the vnc is running. Where can I change this settings?

application options

Hi,

can somebody please tell me where I can find the Application options that I set in Openthinclient manager? I’m currently creating a package and would like to get these options at the start of my Application. The ICA and Firefox Application are using a python script to get the options, unfortunately I’m no python expert and would like to use a shell script instead.

DualMonitor - Rotate only 1 Monitor

Hi,

is it possible in openthinclient, to configure the dualmonitor-mode of the native nvidiadriver so, that one Monitor was normal and the other was rotated 90 degrees?

Or how can i use my own xorg.conf (generated with nvidia-settings) in openthinclient at startup.

[Openthinclient-user] Citrix ICA client dual monitor


Hey Everybody,

We have been using OTC in our production environment for some time now and
have loved the feature set and flexibility of the product.  We had a
requirement to get USB redirection working within a Citrix session so we
built our own ICA-Client 12 package and it has been working great.  We have
now expanded the deployment of OTC to include dual monitor support.  We use
nVidia cards, so the setup for OTC was not horrible, however when we launch
a Citrix session, it does not detect both monitors.  Through research we
have seen that a parameter is required for the Citrix Receiver which is
-span a.  We could also export an environment variable to it works with the
web interface feature we use.  We have attempted both of these to no avail. 
I was hoping someone out there has already attempted this or found a way to
get it to work.  If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Password for Virtual Testappliance

I just installed the test vma and want to update the OS and install a VNC server. 

Unfortunately I can't find the password for the user openthinclient in the documentation to run Synaptic.

OpenThinClient - LDAP question

Hello
I tested yours system - OPENTHINCLIENT - and I have one question.

Is it possible that the connections to the LDAP database were using SSL or 
TLS?

Normally it is not necessary, and everything works OK.
I am using the Active Directory domain and when the user must change the 
password (the password has expired or is selected "user must change password 
at next logon") authentication via LDAP is not possible - Returns Incorrect 
credentials - the user can not log in to the thin client to by RDP to change 
your password

Please send me some tips
