I've just uploaded jwk7 to http://www.xs4all.nl/~thunder7 If you use multithreaded downloading and xhdr header downloading, and you noticed that the 'Testing availability' always was a lot faster than the actual downloading of the headers, then this patch may have a large speed increase for you. When slrn download headers, it knows exactly what numbers it wants (this is what is testing in the 'Testing availability' part). suppose we know we want 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,10 then default was to request 1-5 7-8 10 now, there's a new argument --stream-xhdr which requests 1-10 and disregards 6 and 9. This has advantages and disadvantages. All I can say is that it's a lot faster for me (480 KiB/s flat-fee access).
