[WEB REQ] How to use pre-shared private message keys? - SILC-Client 1.0.2

Software: SILC-Client 1.0.2
Operating System: Linux - Fedora Core 3
Installation: source

>From reading through the \"/help key\" documentation and trying a bunch of \"/key msg...\" commands, I
can\'t seem to figure out how to setup a pre-shared private message key. Is it possible?

If it is possible, can you explain how to generate the pre-shared key and how to associate that key with
private messages?

Thanks!

RE: [WEB REQ] How to use pre-shared private message keys? - SILC-Client 1.0.2

Hi Pekka,

Thanks for the quick response! The FAQ describes a way of negotiating dynamic private message keys, I was actually asking about static pre-shared keys for private messages. When a client /detach's and later reconnects, all of its dynamic private message keys are lost...rather than having to renegotiate those keys dynamically, is there a way to use pre-shared key instead?

Thanks,
Kevin
