Thanks to Jelmer we mow have a good framework for adding Developer specific documentation. See http://www.samba.org/samba/ftp/docs/Samba-Developer-Guide.[pdf|html] for the current contents. I would really like to encourage developers to document the semantics of modules, interfaces, etc... My hope is that this type of documentation will not prove as hard to keep up to date as other forms (ones by on current code structure). Also, the printing and wins stuff I added today could use a review or two if anyone is interested. Thanks. cheers, jerry --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hewlett-Packard http://www.hp.com SAMBA Team http://www.samba.org -- http://www.plainjoe.org "SAMS Teach Yourself Samba in 24 Hours" 2ed. Yep - I chased this down with idra - it's only a 'tdbsam bug' becouse
tdbsam is the only backend to store all the fields in the info21
structure usrmgr sends on updates.
ldapsam doens't store this, so is unaffected.
If you return the unknown3 usrmgr 'sets' then it freaks out.
I need to do some traces on Win2k and see what it does - and if this is
a real feild, or if it's some flags or somthing.

plugin:/usr/lib/samba/sam_passdb.so:test|test2:test3|test4|MX.BASE
breaks it...
