Re: Failed to connect to SDP server: Operation already in progress

Hi,

did you resolve this? Note that you are not browsing your hosts SDP
but the one on the phone. You can work-around the problem by suppling
the channel with "-B 10" or "-B 15" (Nokia PC Suite is more functional
for some phones).

to pair you phone (first step) you shouldn't use obexftp, the first
thing is on your phone , discover aviable device when it find your pc
ex Bluez0, or localhost, select it then you will be asked to enter a
pin code, put the same in the phone and in your PC if your config is
the default one, if you changed the config from user to auto i gess
you put a pin code in the config, so put the same on the phone, if
every thingh went okay, you will be able to use obexftp, also you can
try directly cs obexftp for example if you have MDV 32 bit :
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/surfzoid/MonoMandriva_2008/i586/
or for other comon distrib
:http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/surfzoid/
Source (Mono/Net) are aviable at source forge

MTU

Hi,
I'm new with openobex, i'm using ussp-push to transfer files to my Bluetooth devices, i would like to change
the MTU size.

I found this function in obex.c:
OBEX_SetTransportMTU(handle, int int);

I've tried to change the values but i'm not having success...
when i change the values of the arguments i'm getting this:

Wrote 3382 fragment
Temp. no resource avail.
Wrote 0 fragment
Temp. no resource avail.
Wrote 0 fragment
Temp. no resource avail.
Wrote 0 fragment
Wrote 618 fragment
Wrote 4000 bytes (expected 4000)
.........

Anybody could help ?!

Thanks
Armando

Could this be non-blocking writes (-EAGAIN)?

More than one hci usb device and Ruby wrapper

Hi Everyone :)

I'm testing sending files with obexftp and push with the Ruby wrapper.
I saw thats there is no support for sending a file with an especific
hci device. I'm thinking on how to do this. I thought thats the easier
is to redefine obexftp_connect_push in obexftp/client.h to use direct
obexftp_connect_src (and not obexftp_connect_uuid) receiving the hci
as parameter. Is this ok?

If it works, how to modify the ruby wrapper to understand it?

Thanks.

Re: More than one hci usb device and Ruby wrapper

Hi Sylvestre,

you may be using an old version. The current release has an optional
third argument to connect() when used from bindings. See
http://dev.zuckschwerdt.org/obexftp/browser/trunk/swig/client.i line
113ff. It was introduced in r196 a year ago
http://dev.zuckschwerdt.org/obexftp/changeset/196

The src arg can either be a number (which will be passed as a string)
or the name like hci0.

Btw. Changes to a public interface (API) are best done in a compatible
way. That's why it has many functions with just slightly different
signatures now.

Re: More than one hci usb device and Ruby wrapper

Oh! I think I was crazy when I do not saw the optional parameter.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll test it later.

Many thanks.

Entirely not your fault, the documentation on the bindings is sparse.
Please keep reporting your troubles (and perhaps things that do work)
-- I'll roll that into the documentation some day ;)

Re: More than one hci usb device and Ruby wrapper

Hi Christian!

I have some feedback about the ruby binding. The optional parameter to
connect() works, but not exactaly as you said. I'll explain with
code... is easier.

This works and uses hci0:

----------------------
#!/usr/bin/env ruby
require 'obexftp'

filename = '/home/mergulhao/tmp/avatar/avatar10.jpg'

obex = Obexftp::Client.new(Obexftp::BLUETOOTH)
puts obex.connectpush('00:02:EE:AC:E0:51', 9)
puts obex.put_file(filename)
puts obex.disconnect
----------------------

This works and uses hci0:

----------------------
#!/usr/bin/env ruby
require 'obexftp'

filename = '/home/mergulhao/tmp/avatar/avatar10.jpg'

obex = Obexftp::Client.new(Obexftp::BLUETOOTH)
puts obex.connectpush('00:02:EE:AC:E0:51', 9, '0')
