OpenVPN server in a mixed (windows unix) enviroment

Hi,

I am having difficulties getting both my UNIX VPN clients and my Windows VPN
clients to use the same server.conf file, is this even possible or do I need
two separate VPN servers one using TAP while the other uses TUN?

Re: OpenVPN server in a mixed (windows unix) enviroment

My experience is that it is not possible due to the path's involved in
identifying your certs... obviously, in Windows, they are
C:\flajldkja\jlkdjfla\ etc while in Linux(or Unix) they are
/blah/blah/....

Other than that, my files are identical.

Re: OpenVPN over ICMP

Hello Alon,

File is about 100K, to not flood I've just put reference to it.
Changes based on 2.0.9 http://tvgw.dzer.ru/pub/ovpn_icmp.tar.gz

Should I merge this changes to latest development version of OpenVPN ?

Best Regards,
Alex

Yes...
Use the head from:
http://svn.openvpn.net/projects/openvpn/branches/BETA22

So people may review this with latest features.

Compilation under AIX OS : problem...

Hello all,

I've only manipulate OpenVPN under Linux, MacOSX and Windows OSes.

A new project needs a VPN infrastructure but most of machines are under
AIX OS.

I've tried to compile OpenVPN and it hangs after few files due to
compilation error :

Mysteriously, the compiler says that route_option_list is not defined
but it's already define in route.h. The previous file route.h is also
defined in config.h

What's wrong ?

Best regards

IGMP multicast patch, anyone?

Dear friends!
Last autumn, some kind programmer ulrik.mikaelsson
posted a patch that allows IGMP in client/client configs.
Since archives doesn't store any patches, if any subscriber still have that patch please send it to me.
The patch was attached to message:
