Josh,

I am guessing you are new to mailing lists as you keep breaking the
thread, this really complicates things and will likely limit how many
people will respond.
Make sure when you reply you keep the thread in tact, that will
increase the chances that someone can actually help.

Ted

Dependency on JDK : unresolved.

Hi ,

I am trying to install OpenNMS ( without YUM) on a RHEL 5 server.

By default the RHEL installation has openjdk 1.6.0.

However the OpenNMS installation fails to find JDK.
It reports
unresolved Dependency : JDK >= 1:1.5 required.

Is there a problem with openjdk?

My JAVA_HOME is set to the jdk folder.

Regards,
asif

It doesn't supply the dependency set in the RPM. Just use yum and let it pull
in the JDK from the opennms repo. It won't break anything else.

OpenNMS 1.6.5 install on FreeBSD8.0

I am installing OpenNMS 1.6.5 on a HP DL145 G2 with 1GB of RAM. I have
already worked through many obstacles installing using a ported
install from http://www.geeklan.co.uk/files/opennms/opennms-165-freebsd-port.tgz.
The install is now at the point of running the build.sh. I am seeing
that the install is failing to download from the online repositories.
Is there a new POM or xml that I need with the correct urls? Below is
the errors I am receiving.
