Open NMS Dashboard not Working

Hi Techies;

I have installed OpenNMS on RHEL 5 , all things are working fine but Surveillance & dash board are not showing any update or any device , I only see 0 out of 0 routers or serves. Can any one guide me what is that ? How can i fix it ?

Have you assigned any devices to surveillance categories?

Choose a node and edit its category membership (bottom left) or use  
the Admin option.

Yes I have done that already , some devices are automatically categorized like servers , routers but none is there in Dashboard, I have configured surveillance-views.xml and magic.users according to OpneNMS help documents.

Each one as at least two categories? i.e. Router and Production,  
Server and Test, etc.

Opennms ..problem with mail..

I have problem with email process...please your opinion... HELPPPPPP!!!!!!

The whole soft seems to operate well. I can scan...discover....view
charts....generate reports...path.../usr/local/opennms/share/reports/.... 
but i cannot send them via email....why?
I believe that the javamail file has been setup correctly. My report.log
seems to be clear...see.. below...(report.log):

Hrm. Do you get notifications via e-mail? Does your remote mail server  
see any attempts to send mail from this system?

Install on Debian Testing(lenny)

Dear List,

I followed the steps of the Quick Start Installation of Opennms 1.5.93.

Installing with aptitude showed a few errors.

opennms-db depends on postgresql Version 8.2, 8.1 or 7.4. But Testing 
currently only has Version 8.3 available in the repository. This can be 
solved by not installing the opennms-db package and manually installing 
postgresql-8.3.

Same problem with iplike. There is no package for postgresql 8.3. I installed 
iplike from source and it seems to be ok.

One thing I didn't solve yet is the opennms-contrib package. This one depends 
on libgtk-perl which is not available in Debian Testing. Is this package 
import, or what additional benefits do I get from it?

PostgreSQL 8.3 is not yet completely supported, so you're on your own 
with that one.  =)  (See the list archives for details.)

It's from an old old script that talks to RTC and does a little GUI 
display; I think it's probably safe for us to just remove it.  =)

Guess I'll go back to Debian etch. On the first look Opennms seems to be 
working fine, but for instance On-Call-Schedule never shows anything. Could 
be also due to the Postgres 8.3.

Until lenny is out I'm sure this will be fixed.
