Topology discovery in Netdot needs one or more of these sources of
information:
a) CDP or LLDP enabled on every device
b) Forwarding tables collected from switches
c) Spanning tree state from switches
So, if your devices are not providing one or more of these sources, then
Netdot cannot determine the topology correctly.
You can run the topology discovery process in debug mode to see more
details about what Netdot is trying to do.
As a last resort, you can set up the neighbor relationships manually
(look for the "Neighbor" column in the "Interfaces" section of the
devices in question).
