[bug #18959] mldonkey responds slowly and takes 100% CPU process

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #18959 (project mldonkey):

Very weird: when I last checked, my system acted as it should. I cannot
reproduce the '100% in use' bug anymore. Maybe it had something to do with
some externals like GeoIP, but that's just a guess.

Good luck with resolving this issue.

Follow-up Comment #5, bug #19387 (project mldonkey):

updated patch -> small html fixes from "countries" output

quote from "orbit" ->
I just noticed that in the country stats there a entries without any total
seen peer but some upload. <-

can't confirm your observations here, all 'costats' entries are at least seen
one time

perhaps it's network bound, i use ed2k, ov, kad and bt
uptime with country code stats: 21d, total seen: 140000

[bug #19520] The download 'rate' or speed for a given file as displayed by the html display is completely inaccurate

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19520 (project mldonkey):

"I know the HTML GUI auto updates every 12 ? seconds"

Option vd_reload_delay controls this, default is 120s.

"the rate should then be averaged over the last 12 seconds"

Options controlling the computation of download rates are
download_sample_rate and download_sample_size.

The default for download_sample_size of 10 may be too low,
please test values like 100.
