AIO revisited

Hi. It has come to my attention that mathopd 1.5 with the AIO patch on the
website does not work quite well. I have fiddled a bit with aio over the
weekend and have now prepared a new patch, this time for 1.6.

Cheers

Re: AIO revisited

Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that the patch is available on the
website. (at http://www.mathopd.org/dist/aio-patch-1.6.txt )

SSL?

I'm using Mathopd, I find it to be almost as fast as httpd, but has easy
support for virtual domains that I need..

Recently, I've come to need SSL... So I was wondering, if this is
something I can/should wait for, or should I start reading the man pages
for Stunnel? I don't like the Stunnel solution, it's a kluge at best..

So was wondering if SSL will be a feature anytime soon...

wiki for Mathopd

Hi. I have set up an experimental wiki for Mathopd at

  http://www.mathopd.org/wiki

Many thanks to Jürgen Daubert for taking the time to convert the website
to wiki and making other contributions.

Cheers

You mean apache with httpd ? Sorry, but Mathopd is much faster than
apache if we are talking about static content.

I know that SSL support is on Michiel's whishlist [1], but if you
need that soon, I'd suggest to go with stunnel.

Ooops.. I meant thttpd http://www.acme.com/software/thttpd/

Mathopd is about the same speed thttpd but with easier configuration and
support for virtual servers..

Yes.. I really hope for SSL.. The things I find useful in apache:

mod_rewrite, mod_ssl. Everything else... SLOW...
