This issue just came up on the rdiff-backup mailing list again (as
Robert Weber knows, because he pointed out the solution there).  How
important is this fix?

From my perspective, I'm just wondering if this fix and the few others
since 0.9.6 make it worth putting out 0.9.7.

Probably... there are also some other changes in CVS that boost
performance. They include a fairly significant re-factor of the delta
code, but thus far no-one has found any problems with it.

There is one outstanding bug I'd like to address;

But if I don't get around to it and someone else puts together a
