texpire and articles kept question?

texpire and articles kept question?

Ugh.  Sorry for the blank message before.

I just installed leafnode+ on my FreeBSD 4.X system and have noticed a
weird problem with texpire.  Can someone explain the below to me?

% texpire 
comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc: 0 articles deleted, 170 kept
mn.general: 0 articles deleted, 33 kept
rec.sport.triathlon: 0 articles deleted, 89 kept
total: 0 articles deleted, 2292 kept

The total number of kept message is much different than the total of
the three other numbers.  I thought it was a problem with my spool
before, but I wiped out that spool and started over from scratch.  So
these numbers are with a newly created spool and one fetch of articles.

Anyone have any ideas?
