It sounds like '/opt/jffnms/rrd/interface-56-0.rrd' doesn't exist. is
'/opt/jffnms' where you have it installed?

Re: segmentation fault - please help!!!

yes everything is in /opt/jffnms with the proper directory permissions.

the rrd files will not exist because the poller has not created the files yet.
It can not create the file suntil this problem is resolved.

Make sure it's writable as the user that the poller is running as
(www?) if that doesnt work chmod 777 it just as a test.

Yes the directory is 777. jffnms user is part of apache group also and vise versa.

poller runs as jffnms user

It doesn't matter, you could be trying to write to a CD or to a file
with permissions 000. In any case php should not segfault.
That's the problem, your PHP is broken.

It's not the modules, there is a problem with your PHP

after upgrade - rtt values high

I imported the data from a 0.7.9 jffnms server to
another ( faster ) server and then upgraded it to
0.8.3.

But now the RTT values in the performance graph for
any host ( Windows or Unix/Linux ) is now showing
about 5-10 times higher than before. If I select Host
Round Trip Time and look at a couple of weeks worth of
graph data, itÂ’s typically <1ms up until the new
server took over and now the RTT is typically >5ms.

All other graph types ( cpu, mem, etc ..), so far,
looks fine.

OS Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon
Update 8)

Apache 2.0.59

Php 4.4.6

Mysql 4.1.11

Rrdtool 1.0.49 ( I tried 1.2.x as well )

Fping 2.4b2_to

Any ideas ?
