Apologies - it seems copy and paste from my web browser included the
markup, let's make this less ugly:

Psi 0.12 RC2: toolbar problems

It seems like all toolbars have their favorite position =)
attempts to force them to be in my favorite place were failed :(

when i move the main toolbar (named "Buttons") to the top of the contact list, it will be moved back to the bottom in 2 cases:
- if i lock this toolbar (setting corresponding checkbox in options)
- or if i restart Psi

also, if i create new toolbar, it has favorite position in the top and also resets to this position in the cases pointed above.

There are some bugs while creating new toolbar :
i go to the "toolbars" options section, click "add", set the name, check "enabled" flag, and press "OK" to finish....
And that leads to nothing. no new toolbar will be appeard on the roster. if i open "configure toolbars" section again, there will be none trace of my previously created toolbar....

* i succeeded in creating toolbar with this sequence:
go to the "toolbars" options section, click "add", set the name, click "apply". check "enabled" flag, click "apply" again.

---------------------------
And thanx, for now 0.12 works stable under windows.

silly question - I can't find out how to choose 'top/bottom' snapping
for a toolbar. I seem to remember it being an option, but for the
life of me I can't find it in a (fairly) recent build.

Re: Psi 0.12 RC2: toolbar problems

for now you must unlock toolbar and then you can move it with mouse.

Ahh, thanks!!!!

Somehow during the options migration it managed to get below the
buttons, which was really irritating.

the highlighted issue under Windows OS

I have noticed some issue while using Windows OS: When I highlight
some text in the chat or MUC, the color of the selected phrase is
light gray and it's hardly visible. (http://psi-im.org/wiki/
Image:Psi_highlighted_text_win.PNG) whereas under Linux OS the
highlighted color is blue (http://psi-im.org/wiki/
Image:Psi_highlighted_text_linux.PNG).
But under MAC OS the highlighted color is gray too but a bit darker,
and more visible (http://psi-im.org/wiki/
Image:Psi_highlighted_text_mac.PNG)
Do you know what the problem is?

Thank you in advanced

I think this is just the way that text rendering works in the those
themes for the OS'es. If you want to make it more readable, change
you theme's font settings.

gnupg encryption key invalid

hey there,
has anyone a solution to this problem?
I use Psi v0.11 and a friends key expired, but he changed the date... so
it should be fine now. gpg --list-keys says: [expires: 2008-12-20]
But psi tells me that
"There was an error trying to send the message encrypted.
Reason: Encrypting key is invalid." ...

Cheers,

Raffa

Norman, do you mean the QT theme? As you know, it's a bit obscure how
to change that on Windows [1]. The issue CH is raising isn't
apparently related to the OS theme on Windows, I've got a dark blue
highlight in other apps.
