There's no silver bullet :-)

[PATCH] gcc: unrecognized option `-Zm400'

Welcome,

Could someone fix one line in ./iris/libidn.pri, which causes gcc to
complain about unknown option (because it's an option for Microsoft
Visual C++ compiler family)?

Hmm isn't there something like win32-msvc* to match all versions of
visual c++?

Re: Service discovery: user count for conferences(chatrooms) shown only after refresh

<snip: comments on service discovery dialog for conference discovery>

I think it would be worthwhile some day to (in addition to the full
service discovery dialog, which is a powerful tool) add in some
service-specific dialogs. One of these would probably be for 'add a
transport', and another would sensibly be for conference queries in a
more usable manner. It's hard to do much for usability of specific
services in the generic dialog.

Service discovery: user count for conferences(chatrooms) shown only after refresh

Hi! i have Psi 0.12-RC1
To the point.
In service discovery window, browsing conferences allows to see number of users in each conference, but it will be shown only after refreshing "chatrooms".
Is it bug or feature i don't know, but imho it will be good to show it always.

And even more:
Like almost all IRC clients does, i suggest to show number of users in separate column, to allow sorting chatrooms list by number of users.

P.S. Psi is the best! Thanks for your work!

How does "Bookmarked conferences" in psi 0.12-RC1 works?

In an announcement was mentioned some "Bookmarked conferences"

"Bookmarked conferences.
MUCs/groupchats can now be bookmarked (subject to server support, which almost every server has), so the user interface provides quick access to favourite mucs, and also to autojoin settings at login time."

But i've found no changes in UI to deal with this new feature...
Can someone tell, what is this and how it works?

I actually could not find it myself at first. Look at the context
menu (right-click) on any account name in your roster. You'll see the
Bookmarks menu. I think this feature deserves better (or additional)
placement in the UI.

Indeed, suggestions and patches gratefully received for 0.13.
