New 0.6.4 and others

Hi everybody !

Sorry for this (very) long silence, but I'm student and I was in
holidays (so long  ). Thought I think I'm not so useful and you don't
really need me...

First, congratulations for the new version. I installed it and it works
very well. But I think there are a few things that I must signal you.
Christian, I'm sorry to tell you this, but -Lyes/lib error is still
present with some arguments (redundant, for my configuration at least) :
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/ --with-gdbm --with-tdb --with-gtk
- --with-extractor fails, but
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/  --with-crypto runs well...

Too, I think gdbm database is not the best system for GNUnet : we should
choose another (bdb ?) by default and change the FAQ. I had several
problems with gdbm db like loosing 2.5 GB of data, hundreds of megabytes
of memory use only for gdbm library... Christian added some features
wich reduces memory consumption but it still needs much memory.
So I tried bdb, and it's very well : light and effecient.

Any need of work in some part ?

I had some problems with bdb deleting everything when it got almost
full :(

What do you mean with "almost full"?

I have inserted a file in gnunet. My problem is: I can't get it out of
gnunet in a period of 3 days?

While we are on the subject of databases, has anyone thought about
SQLite (<http://www.sqlite.org/>) support? It looks very cool.

Yes, it looks interesting.
There might be support for SQLite in the future.

Did you cancel gnunet-download or did it terminate by itself?

"gnunet -d -L DEBUG" and "gnunet-download -L DEBUG -V ..." will tell 
more about what's going on.

I cancelled the gnunet-download after 3 days. I had to compile the last csv
files.

Was "mooihuis" inserted using an older version?
Please try to reinsert/reindex the the file and try again.

Thank you for this information ---)  Filezilla
(http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/ ) is a project which I can use also. For
the http://www.foondump.nl project I have made a MySQL/ODBC backend to
Megafoon. Megafoon is a MFC (GUI) program which can select on a MySQL/ODBC
database. Current on the Dutch telephone book (> 6.5 * 10 ^ 6) entries. I
will work Megafoon towards a generic database browser.

Mooihuis has been inserted with a newer version as mary4. Mary4 works!

I only want to say that gnunet is not a reliable network. If I inserted a
file well, but it could not be retrieved later...
